1. Who we are
This website is operated by Cognitiveering ("we", "us"). We are responsible for the personal data described in this notice. Our Data Protection Officer can be reached at legal@cognitiveering.com.
2. What we collect
- Your email address, when you submit one of our forms.
- Form context: which form you used (for example, a demo request or the Briefing) and when.
- Approximate country, derived from your network connection by our hosting provider at the time of submission.
We do not use advertising or analytics cookies, and we do not load third-party trackers. Our hosting provider may set strictly necessary cookies to protect the website against abuse.
3. Why we use it
- Demo and contact requests: to respond to your request. We do not add you to the Briefing unless you subscribe to it separately.
- The Cognitiveering Briefing: to send it to you, with your consent. Every issue includes an unsubscribe link.
- Security: to detect and prevent abuse of our forms.
Where the EU or UK General Data Protection Regulation applies, we rely on your consent for the Briefing, and on steps taken at your request (or our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries) for demo and contact requests.
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell personal data. We use Cloudflare, Inc. to host this website and store form submissions. Your data may therefore be processed outside Singapore; where it is, we take steps to ensure it receives a standard of protection comparable to that under Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012. We may disclose data where required by law.
5. How long we keep it
- Briefing subscriptions: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your data.
- Demo and contact requests: up to 24 months after our last correspondence, unless a longer period is required by law.
6. Your choices and rights
You may ask to access or correct your personal data, withdraw your consent, or ask us to delete it, by emailinglegal@cognitiveering.com. If the GDPR applies to you, you may also object to or restrict our processing and request a portable copy of your data. You may complain to the Personal Data Protection Commission in Singapore or to your local data protection authority.
7. Changes
We will post any changes to this notice on this page and update the date above.
